Citizen Science Volunteer Opportunity! If you reguarly walk in pine forests and are interested in helping NCF prevent future outbreaks of southern pine beetle, join Director of Research Danielle O’Dell to learn the signs of infestation so we can stop spread before it becomes a problem. We need more eyes on our forests and we would love your help by “adopting a forest” and watching Pitch Pine stands across the island.
